Getting ready for a wedding is hard. Besides all of the planning involved with putting on a once-in-a-lifetime-event, there's the issues of getting ready to move, getting ready to move in with your significant other, and saving up for one of the biggest expenses of your life (not counting buying a house, your first porsche, or paying for your kids to go to college.)

Now I know why people elope.

That said, we've had nothing but support from friends and family, and blessing after blessing from God. I really feel like everything we've needed has been provided for us, and things keep working themselves out. So it's really not bad at all.

Today I added a picture of my stepmother, Janice, and my Dad, Allen. In case you can't tell from the photo, they were in Las Vegas. (Hence the spiffed up out on the town look.) The new photo, as well as the older ones, can be found in the family gallery, located in the square section.

After some hard work, I have finally gotten alexandnicole.com online. Having shamelessly ripped off the design from Fictional, I have to admit that it was only a couple of hours of work, mostly spent tweaking small detail images in photoshop. But I'm happy with the result -- check it out.
