It's about time I did something useful with Fictional.Com. Over the past few years I've had this domain, I've often talked about using it to do a zine, or to ridicule the idiots who send email to me thinking fictional.com is a nonexistent domain. So now, I've done something with it. It's...well, I don't know what it is. I think it's handy for me to look back and remember stuff I did, which makes it sort of an online journal. If you don't like it, tough. I didn't make it for you. That said, here's a bit about me.

This is me, in my room, with my wonderful girlfriend Nicole shooting me with the polaroid camera. I bought the camera with the original intention of using it more than a handful of times, but like most gadgets in the world, its usefulness was short lived and it wound up collecting dust shortly after this picture was taken, never to be used again. Unless I dig it out and use it again, but then, I'd have to update this web page, which is more trouble than it's worth just to take an instant photo.

These are the Snows. The little one is Baby Snow, the medium one on my left shoulder is Mr. Snowman, and the big guy on my right is Mr. Really Big Snowman. Nicole, my girlfriend gifted with snowman communication talents, originally had Mr. Snowman, and we thought he was so cool we adopted the other two. Mostly they just sleep and bug us for ice cream.

I know what you're thinking. That because I have friends who are small snowmen, that there's something wrong with me. Well, I can assure you that I'm entirely aware the snows are not real people. Yes, really. I know they're not real people. They're snowmen. Snowmen are different than people. They're smaller. And made of snow. So you see, I do know the difference.

This is me and my girlfriend, Nicole. She's an amazing woman -- funny, cute, kind. We met at work, which means I'm basically living every guy's dream of dating the beautiful receptionist. Apart from being wonderfully cute and my aformentioned comment regarding snowman communication talents, she's also a kindhearted, genuinely good person. This is a very rare thing, and a very precious gift. On an entirely unrelated onte, I currently attend Penninsula Chinese Alliance Church, a small but enthusiastic group of believers that Nicole has gifted with her musical talents.

I haven't said quite enough about myself, so I'll add a couple of details. I like all kinds of music, particularly electronic/industrial and soundtracks. I play a lot of video games. I used to collect comic books, but I don't really do so as much anymore. I have lots of toy robots. I try to floss. Sometimes, I write music. That's all you need to know for now.
